Makassar – The Master of English Education Program, Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, held its Academic Orientation for the 2025 cohort on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with some students attending onsite in Room 1.3 of the Postgraduate Building, while others joined via Zoom Meeting.
A total of 21 students participated in the orientation, consisting of 2 RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) students and 19 regular students. In her remarks, the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Radiah Hamid, M.Pd., introduced the graduate profile and academic vision of the program. She also emphasized the importance of students’ commitment to completing their studies on time.
Furthermore, Dr. Radiah Hamid introduced the permanent faculty members who will serve as lecturers throughout the students’ academic journey, namely: Prof. Dr. Andi Tenri Ampa, Prof. Sulfasyah, M.A., Ph.D., Dr. Nur Qalbi, S.S., M.Hum., Dr. St. Asriati AM, M.Hum., Dr. Syamsiarna Nappu, M.Pd., Dr. Saiful, S.Pd., M.Pd., Dr. Radiah Hamid, M.Pd., and Dr. Ratna Dewi, S.S., M.Hum.
This orientation marked an important first step for new students to gain a better understanding of the program, meet the lecturers, and strengthen their commitment to pursuing their studies in the Master of English Education at Unismuh Makassar.
